Configuring vendor-specific options

About this task

You can configure an option unique to an individual vendor class. This is called a vendor-specific option (option 43).

Procedure

Use the vendor-specific-option command to create a vendor-specific option with a unique index.
Use the name command to name the option (optional).
Use the class-identifier command to set a vendor-specific identifier.
Use the value command to set the data type and value of the vendor-specific option.
