Select a 15 A circuit breaker rated for DC power applications with a 1 second trip time for an over-current of 50 A or higher, or with a Curve Code “C”.
Select a circuit breaker that is UL listed in UL 489.
Locate a circuit breaker that is either adjacent to or is a part of the DC source.
Connect the circuit breaker to the negative lead of the DC source.
Install a single circuit breaker for each G450 Branch Gateway power supply.
Do not share circuit breakers or DC power cords.
Note:
Use only the DC power cord specified in this document and the SGC cable provided with the Gateway.
Danger:
Do not install the Gateway further from the DC source, or an approved building ground, than the specified cables allow.
