Pickup group overview

Last Updated : Sep 14, 2023 |

A pickup group is a collection or list of individual telephone extensions. When you set users up in a pickup group, a user can answer an incoming call of a colleague from their phone, increasing the availability of a line of users. For example, you can create a pickup group with payroll extensions for everyone within the payroll department. A user from this pickup group can answer calls from any payroll extension.
