Vector routing table overview

Last Updated : Nov 16, 2022 |

A vector directory number (VDN) is an extension on an automatic call distributor that directs an incoming call to a vector. A vector is a user-defined sequence of functions, such as routing the call to a destination, giving a busy signal, or playing a recorded message. The vector routing table contains a set of defined numbers. Based on the call routing, the function related to the vector step is performed if the table contains that number.
