You can modify a topic when you are disconnected from the network. If the system displays the following message, click OK to continue: Unable to reach the SDL repository ‘avaya001.sdlproducts.com’.... This message might be displayed at different points in the following procedure.
Before you begin
The file that you want to modify must be checked out by you before you disconnect from the network.
Open the file in Oxygen XML Author if it is not already open:
In Oxygen XML Author, click SDLTridionDocsOpen Local Storage.
In the Local Storage window, select the topic to modify, and then click Check Out.
Modify the topic as required.
Click SDLTridionDocsMake Available in Local Storage to save the updates to local storage on your hard drive.
STEP RESULT:
The system closes the topic.
Repeat this procedure to modify the locally saved topic any number of times.
