When the gateway is in Edge mode behind a NAT, it is required to periodically send packets to keep the NAT TCP and UDP ports open when no other traffic is flowing. The following commands are used to specify the packet rate:

• tcp keepalive [timer value]

• udp keepalive [timer value]
