Configures traffic shaping for outbound traffic on the current interface.

Syntax

traffic-shape rate bit_rate


Parameter	Description	Possible Values	Default Value
bit_rate	The bit-rate that traffic is shaped to, in bits per second	64000-10240000

interface:FastEthernet(L2, L2-L3)

To set the traffic-shaping rate to 128000:

Gxxx-001(if:FastEthernet 10/3)# traffic-shape rate 128000
