set spid-b

Last Updated : Apr 02, 2020 |

Use the set spid-b command to assign a Service Profile Identifier (SPID) to a North American BRI trunk in SLS. The trunk circuit cannot be placed in service unless the SPID initialization is successful.

On the Communication Manager bri-trunk-board form, page 2, this string is constructed by using the SPID field entry (12 digits maximum) as the base, and appending the Endpt ID field entry (2 digits) to create a single string (14 digits maximum).

Note:

This command is valid only for a BRI circuit employed with ISDN.
