keepalive (PPP)

Enables PPP keepalive in a PPP interface, in order to maintain a persistent connection. Entering keepalive without a parameter returns the keepalive to its default value. Use no keepalive to disable PPP keepalive.

[no] keepalive [seconds]

Example

To enable PPP keepalive, and generate a message every 300 seconds:
