login authentication inactivity-period

Last Updated : Apr 02, 2020 |

Use the login authentication inactivity-period command to disable a local user account after a specified inactivity period. Use the no form of the command to deactivate the inactivity period policy. By default, the inactivity period policy is deactivated to be backward compatible.

The no form of the command does not re-enable accounts deactivated because of the inactivity period policy. To re-enable an account, an administrator must run the username command and re-configure the account using the same user name and password.

Note:

This command does not apply to the root account or to Service accounts.
