Enables replies to ICMPv6 Echo Request messages sent to a multicast address. Use the no ipv6 icmp echo-reply CLI command to disable IPv6 Echo Request Messages sent to a multicast address.

Multicast address includes all address that start with “FF” (FFXX::). This includes link local multicast addresses as FF02::1 and solicited node addresses (for the link local and global ipv6 address of the interfaces).
