Logging In

About this task

You must log in to use the console. The Login window contains details that enable the console to communicate with the telephone system.

Procedure

  1. Click SoftConsole SoftConsole.
  2. In the Login window, do the following:
    1. Enter your case sensitive user name or extension number.
    2. Enter your user password.
    3. Enter the name or IP address of the telephone system.

      • If you installed the application from a download from web manager or self-administration, the name should have been automatically added.

    4. Select the Use secure communications check box to enable secure communication between the console and the telephone system.
  3. To set additional options before you log in, click Expand. See Optional Login Setting
  4. To log in, click OK.
