Recording calls

About this task

You can record a complete call or part of a call.

  • Recording is only supported on system with Voicemail Pro installed.

  • Recording pause when a call is put on hold or parked. When you connect to the call again the recording resumes.

  • When you record conference calls, the recording continues when callers are added to the conference.

Procedure

  1. To record a call, do one of the following:
    • Click .

    • Click Actions > Record call.

    • Press F5.

    By default, the conversation is recorded into the user’s voice mailbox.

  2. To finish the recording, repeat any of the steps above.
