Transferring a call without answering it

If you recognize a caller’s name or number, you can transfer the call without answering it first. Transferring a call in this way is called an unsupervised transfer. Your configuration can be set to have unanswered calls returned. When a call is returned, (NoAns) is shown in the call details panel.

Procedure

  1. Enter the destination extension number in the Search field.
  2. Click on the match required and then click . Alternatively, when down to a single search match, click on .

    The incoming call is transferred to the destination extension and cleared from the screen.
