Configuring park slots

About this task

You can set the number of available Park Slot buttons and the IDs associated with each button.





Procedure

  1. Click Preferences Preferences.
  2. Select Park slots.
  3. To add or edit a park slot:
    1. Click New to add a new park slot.
    2. Click Edit to modify the selected park slot.
    3. Enter or modify the alphanumeric park slot ID, which can contain letters and numbers, but not spaces.
      Note:

      If you need a secure parking slot, configure the park slot ID with text. You will not be able to unpark the call using normal telephone dialing. Instead, you will need to use an application Park Slot button set to the same text.

    4. Enter a keyboard shortcut to park or unpark a call into a specific park slot. You can also use the Keyboard mapping tab to edit shortcuts.
  4. To remove the selected park slot from the list, click Delete.
  5. To change the order of configured park slots:
    1. Select the park slot you want to move.
    2. Click Move Up and Move Down as required.
