Use this procedure to add an Avaya Workspaces supervisor user to Avaya Control Manager. This supervisor can log on to Avaya Workspaces as a supervisor and access the supervisor features available in Avaya Workspaces.
Before you begin
Ensure that the Avaya Workspaces for Call Center Elite clusters are in a running and accepting state.
Log on to the Avaya Control Manager interface with administrator credentials.
On the Avaya Control Manager webpage, click Users.
On the Users tab, click a team, and click Add.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Control Manager displays the User Details page.
In the Available applications section, select the Workspaces for Elite check box.
In the First Name field, type the first name for the supervisor.
In the Surname field, type the surname for the supervisor.
From the Profile list, select Agent.
In the LDAP Username field, type the username used by the Authentication server.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
You must specify the LDAP Username in the email address format. Type the domain name in the second field. This user name is used to log on to Avaya Workspaces.
In the Username field, type a user name.
In the Password field, type a password for the user.
In the Confirm password field, type a password for the user.
In the AVAYA Login field, enter the Elite agent login ID.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
When creating a supervisor, if the Profile field is set to Agent and the AVAYA Login field is populated, then this supervisor is added to Elite.
From the Team drop-down list, select the team to add this user to.
In the Extension field, enter the station associated with this supervisor.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This is used when logging on to Avaya Workspaces.
Note:
You must enter a value in this field.
Click Save.
Select the Permissions tab.
From the Role drop-down list, select Supervisor.
Click Save.
Select the Skills tab.
From the Available skills list select the skills to assign to this user.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Note:
When you use Avaya Control Manager (ACM) for an Avaya Workspaces agent to add or remove a skill, the agent must log out from Avaya Workspaces and log back in for the application to reflect the changes.
Click Save.
Select the Avaya Oceana tab.
Select the Prompt agent for extension number at login field to display the default extension for the user while logging in, and permit changing the extension.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This option is useful if Hot Desking is enabled for the user. If this option is not selected, the user is logged in with the default extension.
