If upgrading a cluster from R.3.8.x servers to R3.9.0.x, you must install the clusterDBMigrationService- 3.9.0.x service.
  • The clusterDBMigrationService- 3.9.0.x service is part of Element Manager R3.9. Whilst a R3.9.0.x service, it is installable on R3.8.1.1 and earlier Avaya Breeze® platform clusters.
  • After installing the service, when you back up the cluster database, the script updates the backup database schema so that you can restore the database backup onto R3.9.0.x after the upgrade.
  1. In System Manager, click ElementsAvaya Breeze®Service ManagementServices.
  2. Select the clusterDBMigrationService- 3.9.0.x service and click Install.
  3. Select the clusters on which you want to install the clusterDBMigrationService- 3.9.0.x service and click Commit.
  4. To see the status of the service installation, click Refresh.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    • Installed with a green check mark indicates that the snap-in has completed installation on all the Avaya Breeze® platform servers in the cluster.
    • Installing with a yellow exclamation mark enclosed in a triangle indicates that the snap-in has not completed installation on all the servers.
