Verifying host name resolution for Avaya Breeze® platform nodes

Last Updated : May 12, 2025 |
Prolog information
Use this procedure to verify that the Avaya Breeze® platform node management IP addresses and fully qualified domain names (FQDNs) can be resolved.
  1. Register the FQDNs of the following servers and virtual machines with a Domain Name System (DNS) server:
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    • System Manager
    • Avaya Workspaces for Call Center Elite Cluster 1 IP address and FQDN
    • Avaya Workspaces for Call Center Elite Cluster 2 IP address and FQDN
    • Avaya Breeze® platform nodes Management IP address and its FQDN
    • Avaya Breeze® platform nodes Security IP address and its FQDN
    Important:
    • If you do not complete this step, Avaya Breeze® platform replication does not synchronize for each node. Failure to synchronize prevents the deployment from completing.
    • The returned DNS record is case-sensitive. Therefore, it must exactly match the node.
  2. Verify that System Manager can resolve the host name of Avaya Breeze® platform nodes.
