If the status of a image that you want to modify is released, create a new version of the image in the desktop repository. This is especially important if you are working on multiple releases simultaneously and have multiple active versions of publications.
Procedure
In the Tridion Docs repository, navigate to the folder that contains the image that you want to update.
Right-click the image and click Check Out With.
On the Open With dialog box, select the application that you want to use to modify the image and click OK.
Modify the image, save your changes, and close the file.
In the Tridion Docs repository, right-click the image and click Check In.
On the Check In dialog box, click OK.
In Publication Manager, open the publication, navigate to the topic that contains the image you updated, and check the preview to validate that the changes that you made in the image.
