Polling Type

Performance/Utilization

Polling Interval

The more TRUNK GROUPS and TRUNK GROUP MEMBERS, the frequently this MIB Group should be queried.

Default Caching Interval

300 seconds

Timeout Interval

Initial Timeout should be set to 15 seconds.

Retry Interval

Initial Retry should be set to 3.

Limitations

Red/High: The data collected by this MIB Group increases as the number of boards in the system increase. Consequently, this data could be very large and therefore may take a very long time to collect and could impact system performance.

Associated Communication Manager Commands:

This OID retrieves trunk member status for up to first 500 trunk members administered system-wide. For example, if trunk group 1 has more than 500 members, this OID never returns status for members in trunk groups other than trunk group 1.

Similarly, if trunk group 1 has 250 members and trunk 2 has 250 members, this OID never returns the status for trunk group members in groups other than 1 or 2. This limitation is created because of the occupancy problems when trying to retrieve more trunk member status. To get data on other trunk group members, use the avCmStatusTrunkRange OID or the avCmStatusTrunkMem OID.
