Adding an SNMP trap using the web interface

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Avaya Aura® Communication Manager web interface.
  2. Click Administration > Server (Maintenance).
  3. In the SNMP section, click FP Traps.
  4. Click Add/Change.
  5. On the Add Trap Destination page, do the following:
    • To create an SNMPv1 trap, enter the following details under SNMP Version 1 section:

      • FQDN/IP address

      • Community Name

    • To create an SNMPv2 trap, enter the following details under SNMP Version 2 section:

      • FQDN/IP address

      • Notification

      • Community Name

    • To create an SNMPv3 trap, enter the following details under SNMP Version 3 section:

      • FQDN/IP address

      • Notification

      • User Name

      • Authentication Protocol

      • Authentication Password

      • Privacy Protocol

      • Privacy Password

      • Engine ID

  6. Click Submit.
