Syntax:

Use this command to display the system local Engine ID.

snmpconfig -e
where,

-e: Retrieve local Engine ID.

snmpconfig -r [both | snmpd | snmptrapd]
where,

-r: Resets snmpd, snmptrapd, or both configurations files to default settings.

snmpconfig -s [Engine ID]
where,

-s: Sets local engine ID.

Example:

snmpconfig -r [both]
snmpconfig -r [snmpd]
snmpconfig -r [snmptrapd]
