You can modify the default automatic backup settings. By default, Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway starts creating automatic backups every Sunday at 12:00 a.m.

This topic is not applicable if you upgrade Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway to version 1.0.5 or later. For guidance, contact Avaya Cloud Operations.
Before you begin
The backup process requires significant system resources. Therefore, schedule automatic backups during the least busy periods to minimize the impact on Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway performance.
Procedure
Log in to the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway administration portal.
Go to Automatic Backup Configuration.
In the Backup Time field, specify the time and date to create automatic backups.
Select the Repeat every check box and specify the interval between two consecutive automatic backup operations.
In the Max Backup field, specify the number of backups to store on Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway.
To change the password that is in use for automatic backups, do the following:
Select the Change Password check box.
In the Backup File Password field, type a password for backups.
The password must comply with the password complexity rules. To view the rules point the cursor to the Backup File Password field.
In the Re-Enter Password field, type the password again.
