Audit Trail

Last Updated : Dec 27, 2023 |

The Audit Trail feature enables you to view records of the occurring events. When a user makes an update in Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud, this update is recorded as an event. For example, when a user creates an agent, Application Center records the corresponding event. You can initiate an Audit Trail search to view the recorded event.

To search for an event, you must select the date range during which the event occurs and the event type. With event types, you can search for events recorded for different entities in Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud. For example, to find the events related to the Reason Codes entity, such as creating, deleting, or editing reason codes, select the Reason Code event type.

To make the search results more precise, specify the following information:
  • The IP and email address of the user that performs the update

  • Whether the event is related to creating, deleting, or editing an existing configuration

  • The keywords associated with the event

After you initiate an Audit Trail search, Application Center displays a page with the events that meet the search criteria. At the top of the page, you can see the selected event types displayed as tabs. You can click these tabs to switch between the event types. To download a file that contains the currently displayed events, click the Download CSV button. The downloaded file is in the .csv format.

To view the description of an event, click the event date range. The event description contains information about the event. For example, if an account administrator enables a channel, Application Center displays this update in the corresponding event description.

Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud supports the Audit Trail feature for Application Center Administration and Orchestration.
