Searching for events

About this task

Use the Audit Trail feature to search for the configuration updates that other users perform. When configuring an Audit Trail search, you must specify the date range during which an event occurs and select an event type. The event type is an entity in Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud which is updated. For example, you can select the Reason Code event type to search for events related to the Reason Codes entity.

Before you begin

Log in to Application Center as an account administrator.

Procedure

  1. On the Application Center Welcome page, click Audit Trail.
  2. In the Start Date and Time field, select the start date and time for the search.

    The search does not display the events recorded before the selected date and time.

  3. In the End Date and Time field, select the end date and time for the search.

    The search does not display the events recorded after the selected date and time. You cannot select a future date and time.

  4. In the Types list, select one or more event types.
  5. Optional In the IP Address field, type the IP address of the user that generates the event.
  6. Optional In the Author field, type the email of the user that produces the event.
  7. Optional In the Event list, select one of the following:
    • Created: The events associated with creating configurations, such as adding an agent.

    • Deleted: The events associated with deleting configurations, such as deleting an agent.

    • Updated: The events associated with updating configurations, such as editing an agent.

  8. Optional In the Search Keyword field, type a keyword associated with the event.

    Keywords are words mentioned in the event that you search. For example, if you want to find updates related to the user profile "Agent Profile", you can type agent profile.

  9. Click Search.
