Name
Description
FQDN
Specifies the FQDN (Fully Qualified Doman Name) of the SNMP polling system.
Port
Specifies the port number. The default port is 162. The value range is from 0 to 65535.
Notification
Refers to traps or inform requests.
Note:
For 911 Emergency call Notification, the field must be set to inform for SNMP Version 3 so that the notification is acknowledged by subscribed emergency notification receiver when 911 is dialed.
Community Name
Specifies the SNMP community name. The community name can have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 31 characters. The system does not allow certain characters, such as:

User Name
Specifies a user to send traps to a destination. The user name can have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 31 characters. The system does not allow certain characters, such as:

Authentication Protocol
Specifies the authentication protocol in use. The options are:
  • MD5
  • SHA
Authentication Password
Specifies a password for authentication and privacy. The password must have a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 64 characters. The system does not allow certain characters, such as:
  • `
  • \
  • &
  • (blank)
  • ;
  • =
  • ,
Privacy Protocol
Specifies the privacy protocol in use. The options are:
  • DES
  • AES128
Privacy Password
Specifies a password that the user specified in the User Name field must provide for privacy. The password must have a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 64 characters. The system does not allow certain characters, such as:
  • `
  • \
  • &
  • (blank)
  • ;
  • =
  • ,
Engine ID
Specifies the unique SNMP Engine ID if you set the Notification field to inform. This field is disabled and set to [local Engine ID] if you set the Notification field to trap.
