Exception capacities

To record contact center activities and exceptions, define storage space on the server. CMS handles exception records as follows:

  • CMS store exception records for each element. There are exception records stored for elements like agents, split/skill, trunk groups, VDNs, and vectors across all ACDs.

  • You can retrieve stored exception records from the ACD. The exception records are stored for a limited time, as defined by the following criteria:

    • The number of exception records that are allocated for storage in System Setup > Data Storage.

    • The frequency with which exceptions are recorded each day. For example, if you allocate storage for 1000 exception records and approximately 100 exceptions occur each day, you can save exception records for nearly 10 days.
