Periodic reboot best practices

최근 업데이트 : Oct 17, 2024 |

Avaya recommends that you reboot your CMS server once every three months for preventative maintenance reasons. This periodic reboot helps to minimize the risk of a system failure. It lessens the possibility of your system being adversely impacted by anomalies such as memory leaks, packet loss, unreleased file locks, data inconsistency, data corruption, and storage space fragmentation. Rebooting your CMS server should not take longer than 10 minutes and should be done when the CMS server load is low.

CMS supports HA, which provides an uninterrupted data stream between the communication server and two CMS servers. If you use HA, reboot each CMS server at a different time to prevent data loss.
