Adding a skill name in the Web Client

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Administration > Dictionary > Splits/Skills.
  2. In the Current ACD list, select the active ACD for which you want to administer skills.

    CMS Supervisor displays the list of skills administered for the selected ACD.

  3. Click Add Skill.
  4. In the Split/Skill Number field, enter the number for the skill.

    The number can be a value from 1 to 8000.

  5. In the Split/Skill Name field, enter a skill name.
  6. In the Description field, enter a brief description with additional information.

    You can enter up to 50 characters. This field cannot contain the pipe (|) symbol, a semicolon, or double quotes.

  7. Click OK to save your changes.
