Use this page to configure the security settings for the Experience Portal system. For more information on Server Identity Validation, see Server Identity Validation.

Name

Description

Enable Server Identity Validation

The option to enable or disable Server Identity Validation.

The options are:

  • Yes: Enable Server Identity Validation.

  • No: Disable Server Identity Validation.

If you enable Server Identity Validation, see Server Identity Validation for information on the Experience Portal components that perform Server Identity Validation.

The default setting for Server Identity Validation is:

  • Enabled: For freshly installed systems.

  • Disabled: For upgraded systems.

    The Disabled setting avoids service disruption of existing deployed systems.

Note:

Server Identity Validation is a global setting.

Certificate Expiration Threshold (days)

The number of days before a certificate is set to expire. The system generates a daily alarm notification for the number of days that you set here.

Enter an integer between 30 and 120. The default is 60.

Save

The option to save the changes made.

Apply

The option to apply the changes.

Cancel

The option to cancel the changes made. If you click Cancel, you will navigate to the Certificates page.
