Alarm History window field descriptions

Prolog information
Use this window to view the history of alarm state changes for Acknowledged or Retired alarms.
This window contains the:

Alarm information section

Field
Description
Alarm Code
The unique identification code associated with the alarm.
Timestamp
The date and time that the alarm message was generated.
Server Name
The options are:
  • The name of the primary or auxiliary EPM server
  • The name of the Media Server that generated the event
Alarm Severity
Indicates how severe the problems surrounding the alarm were.
Alarm Message
A brief explanation of the problem or error that caused the alarm.

Alarm status change table

Field
Description
Timestamp
The date and time that the alarm status was changed.
Status Changed To
The status that the alarm was changed to. This can be:
  • ACK: The alarm status is now Acknowledged.
  • RETIRED: The alarm status is now Retired.
By
The user name of the user who changed the alarm status.
