Taking the Auxiliaryoffline using theWeb interface

Before you work with anserver, you need to take theoffline. This procedure explains how take theoffline using theWeb interface.
  1. Log on to the EPM web interface by using an account with the Administration or Operations user role.
  2. From themain menu, select System Management > EPM Manager.
  3. 3. On the EPM Manager page, use the Selection check box inserver table to select whichserver you want to take offline.
  4. Click the Stop button in the State Commands group and confirm your selection when prompted.
    STEP RESULT:
    stops the selectedserver when the last active call completes or the grace period expires, whichever comes first.
  5. After a few minutes, click Refresh and verify that the State is Stopped for theserver that you want to upgrade.
  6. If theoperational state:
    • Changed to Stopped, continue with this procedure.
    • Didchange, you need to stop the vpms service as described in Stopping the EPM service.
  7. Use the Selection check box in theserver table to reselect theserver you want to take offline.
  8. Click Offline in the Mode Commands group.
  9. Click Refresh and verify that the Mode is Offline for theserver you want to upgrade.
