Use this page to configure the global system parameters for Email.
General Section
Field or Button
Description
Log Level
The level at which the event logs are generated and sent to the Primary EPM.
Select one of the following parameters from the drop-down list box:
  • None
  • Info
  • Warning
  • Error
  • Fatal
The default is Info.
Record Handling on Email
The combo box contains the following records:
  • Session Data (SDR) — The parameters are:
    • Enable: Use this Selection check box to enable or disable SDR.
    • Retention Period (days) : Specify the retention period of the SDR in this field. The default is 14 days.
  • Call Data (CDR) — The parameters are:
    • Enable: Use this Selection check box to enable or disable the CDR.
    • Retention Period (days) : Specify the retention period of the CDR in this field. The default is 14 days.
Categories and Trace Levels section
Field or Button
Description
Trace level settings buttons
The level at which traces are generated locally on the Email server. The trace level is modifiable at the component level.
The options are:
  • Off: Sets trace level of all categories to Off.
  • Fine: Sets trace levels of all categories to Fine.
  • Finer: Sets trace levels of all categories to Finer.
  • Finest: Sets trace levels of all categories to Finest.
The default is Fine.
Email Processor
The options are:
  • Off: Sets trace level of all categories to Off.
  • Fine: Sets trace levels of all categories to Fine.
  • Finer: Sets trace levels of all categories to Finer.
  • Finest: Sets trace levels of all categories to Finest.
The default is Fine.
Email Browser
The options are:
  • Off: Sets trace level of all categories to Off.
  • Fine: Sets trace levels of all categories to Fine.
  • Finer: Sets trace levels of all categories to Finer.
  • Finest: Sets trace levels of all categories to Finest.
The default is Fine.
