Problem description

The SMS Service encountered an error while processing a request to launch an SMS application.
{0} - The application name specified in the launch request
{1} - The SMS From address specified in the launch request
{2} - The SMS To address specified in the launch request
{3} – The parentID specified in the launch request
{4} – The UCID specific in the launch request

Solution

  1. Verify that the application name referenced in the event text is configured and enabled on the EPM. Verify the application is in the correct zone.
  2. Check the avaya.appintfservice.log file for additional information.
  3. Check the avaya.sms.log and avaya.text.log files for additional information.
