Field or Button
Description
Zone
Select the name of the zone from the drop-down box.
Note:
The system displays the Zone drop-down box only when you create new zones. If you do not create any new zones, you do not see the drop-down box.

To filter zones, click this icon located at the right side of the page. The system opens the Zone filter window for selecting one or more zones.

Organization
The organizations that belong to the email connection.
Name
The name of the email connection.
Note:
If you upgrade your VP 5.1.x or EP 6.x system with email enabled for reports or alarms, the functionality continues to work in EP 7.0 without an email license. However, the email page warns that the license does not exist. The email functionality for reports and alarms operates without an email license.
Default
The default email server.
Other:
The system does not send the alarm notifications and scheduled reports if the default email server is not configured.
Enable
The options are:
  • Yes
  • No
Outgoing Mail
This field specifies:
  • Server: The address of the email server.
  • Port: The number of the port used for outgoing mail.
Incoming Mail
This field specifies:
  • Server: The address of the email server.
  • Protocol: The protocol over which an email server connects with an email processor for receiving messages. The options are:
    • POP3
    • IMAP
  • Port: The number of the port used for incoming mail.
Add button
Opens the Add Email Connection page.
Delete button
Deletes the selected email connection.
