Editing an HTTP proxy

About this task

You can edit an existing HTTP Proxy configuration to modify the settings, such as the Proxy Server Address, Port Number, or Proxy Authentication Method. You cannot edit Proxy Name. Edit is not allowed if an HTTP proxy is being used in a CRL download job and the CRL download job is in a running state.

Before you begin

  • A minimum of one HTTP Proxy must be listed.

Procedure

  1. On the System Manager web console, click Services > Security.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Configuration > HTTP Proxy.

    System Manager displays HTTP Proxy Configuration.

  3. In HTTP Proxy Configuration, under HTTP Proxy Configuration Data, select the check box for the required HTTP Proxy and click Edit.

    System Manager displays the Edit HTTP Proxy Configuration Data.

    Note:

    Only one HTTP Proxy can be edited at a time.

  4. In Edit HTTP Proxy Configuration Data, under Edit HTTP Proxy Config Data, edit one or more of the following fields:
    • FQDN/IP Address

    • Port Number

    • Proxy Authentication Method

      Note:

      For Proxy Authentication Method, if you select BASIC, enter Username and Password.

  5. Click Commit.

    The selected HTTP Proxy is edited, and the status is displayed in the top left corner.
