Enabling multi-tenancy impacts the routing behavior in Session Manager. It does not allow direct inter-tenant calls. Instead of routing to the endpoint, Session Manager uses routing policies to route the inter-tenant calls through an inter-tenant SIP gateway or proxy.

A user from one tenant cannot search for a user or add a user from another tenant as an internal or enterprise contact.
