Enabling mobile push notifications

About this task

Use this procedure to activate push notification for calling services from core Session Manager.

Before you begin

Before you enable the mobile push notification feature, make sure to configure:

  • The notifications providers as described in Configuring the Avaya Push Notification provider on the Avaya Aura® Session Manager and Configuring a third-party push notification provider on the Avaya Aura® Session Manager.

  • The push notification application, based on the push notification service used, as described in Configuring push notification application settings.

Procedure

  1. On the System Manager web console, click Elements > Session Manager > Global Settings.
  2. On the Global Settings page, select the Enable Mobile Push Notification check box.
  3. Click Commit.
