Application Settings field descriptions

The following fields apply when you click New, Duplicate, Edit and View on the Notification Application Settings page:

Name

Description

Application Name

Push notification application name.

Application ID

The iOS or Android application bundle identification string.

Format is: com.domainname.applicationname

Push Notification Provider

Push notification provider associated with the application.

Session Manager to Verify Settings

The Session Manager against which you verify the connectivity settings.

Button

Description

Verify Settings

Carries out a connectivity test between the selected Session Manager and the associated notification provider, and ensures Session Manager can send a push notification message to the application users.

Commit

Saves the configuration changes.

Executes the connectivity test if not performed manually. Even if the test fails, you can still save the configuration changes.

Cancel

Cancels the configuration process and returns the user to the Notification Application Settings page.
