Creating a remote access configuration

Procedure

  1. On the System Manager web console, click Elements > Session Manager  > Network Configuration  > Remote Access.
  2. Click New.
  3. In Name, type a SIP Proxy name.
  4. In Note, type a note about the SIP Proxy.
  5. To add a new SIP Proxy mapping with Session Manager, perform the following:
    1. In SIP Proxy Mapping Table, click New.
    2. In SIP Proxy Public IP Address, type the SIP Proxy public IP address associated with the Session Manager instance.
    3. In SIP Proxy Public FQDN, type the SIP Proxy public FQDN associated with the Session Manager instance.
    4. In IP Address Family, type the IP address family type associated with the Session Manager instance.
  6. To add a new SIP Proxy Private IP address, do the following:
    1. In the SIP Proxy Private IP Addresses table, click New.
    2. In SIP Private Address, type the private IP address of the SIP Proxy in the enterprise.
    3. Select the Translate Address check box to perform the address translation.

      If Enable Edge Topology is enabled on the Global Settings page, the system displays the Translate Address column.

      When you select this check box, edge Branch Session Manager performs the address translation for the specified table entry, not Session Border Controller.

    4. Select the Securable check box to mark Session Border Controller and remote workers as secure.
  7. Click Add.
