Specifies whether invocation of this application is mandatory or not. If Session Manager fails to reach the application during the sequencing, Session Manager stops sequencing and sends an error response upstream.

If the Enable Media Filtering flag is selected for an application, Session Manager performs application filtering based on media regardless of the Mandatory condition. Session Manager skips the application if the request does not pass the media attribute filters. For requests that pass the application media attribute filter condition, Session Manager performs application sequencing according to the Mandatory condition.
