Pattern

User Pattern. This field is required.

The prefix can include the numbers 0 to 9, and the hash (#), hyphen (-), and question mark (?) symbols. The prefix can have a length of up to 30 characters, but the first character must be numeric. Routing entries can be categorized as follows:

  • Basic digits Use any number of digits to make a simple entry. For example, 570

  • Range of digits Use two basic digit entries to build a range entry. The range has a dash between the two entries. Each range must have the same number of digits. For example, 467 – 486 is valid. 467 – 4866 is not valid.

  • Length delimited Terminate a basic digit entry with the hash "#" symbol to force a specific length match. For example, 5703360#.

  • Wild card Append the wild card digit character "?" to a basic digit entry. Each wild card character matches only one digit, and multiple wild cards can be appended. For example, 57033??
