Deactivating a push notification activation

About this task

Deactivate a push notification activation in the following scenarios:

  • A user experiences notification problems.

  • An existing activation is invalid.

  • Maintenance or upgrade activities are scheduled.

A maximum of 500 push notification activations can be deactivated at a time.

Procedure

  1. On the System Manager web console, click Elements > Session Manager  > System Status  > Push Notification Status.
  2. On the Push Notification Activations page, select the push notification activations that you want to deactivate.
  3. Click Deactivate.

    Session Manager displays the Confirm Deactivation of Notification Activations page.

  4. Click Confirm to deactivate the push notification activations.
