Modifying device mapping

Before you begin

You must enable the Enable Device Adaptations option on the Global Settings page for performing the add, edit, duplicate, and delete operations on the Device Mappings page.

Procedure

  1. On the System Manager web console, click Elements > Routing  > Adaptations > Device Mappings.
  2. On the Device Mappings page, select the device mappings that you want to modify.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. On the Device Mapping Details page, in the General section, modify the required details.
  5. In the Adaptations section:
    1. Click Add to map the device mapping to device adaptation.

      Repeat the procedure to add multiple adaptations. For information on creating device adaptations, see Creating Regular Expression Adaptations.

    2. Click Remove to remove the associated device adaptation. Repeat the procedure to remove multiple adaptations.
  6. Click Commit.
