Description

Name

The name of the remote access configuration.

The map displays the reference configuration of the remote access solution.

  • Reference Point A indicates the external, public-facing IP address of Session Border Controller.

  • Reference Point B indicates the internal facing IP address and port of Session Border Controller.

  • Reference Point C indicates the IP address of the Session Manager instance.

Adds a new row in SIP Proxy Mapping Table.

Delete

Deletes the selected row in SIP Proxy Mapping Table.

Name

Description

SIP Proxy Public IP Address (Reference A)

The public IP address of the enterprise Session Border Controller.

SIP Proxy Public FQDN (Reference A)

The public FQDN of the enterprise Session Border Controller.

Session Manager (Reference C)

The selected Session Manager instance.

If on the Session Manager Administration page, the Enable Military Support field is selected, the Session Manager (Reference C) screen displays branch Session Manager instances along with Session Manager instances.

IP Address Family (Reference C)

The IP address family of the Session Manager instance.

Depending on the Session Manager instance, specify the IP address family type.

  • If Session Manager (Reference C) supports IPv4 only, the valid value for the IP address family type is IPv4.

  • If Session Manager (Reference C) supports IPv6 only, the valid value for the IP address family type is IPv6.

  • If Session Manager (Reference C) supports IPv6 and IPv4, the valid values for the IP address family type are IPv6 and IPv4 and not both.

As part of the validation, the following is true:

  • If the Session Manager (Reference C) value in the mapping table contains only the IPv4 family, you can type only IPv4 addresses in SIP Private Address (Reference B).

  • If the Session Manager (Reference C) value in the mapping table contains only the IPv6 family, you can type only the IPv6 addresses in SIP Private Address (Reference B).​

  • If Session Manager (Reference C) values in the mapping table are of mixed IPv4 and IPv6 family types, you can type both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses in SIP Private Address (Reference B)

Deletes the selected row in SIP Proxy Private IP Addresses Table.

Name

Description

SIP Private Address (Reference B)

The private IP address of the enterprise Session Border Controller.

SBC Type

The type of Session Border Controller used in the remote access configuration.

Translate Address

If Enable Edge Topology is enabled on the Global Settings page, the system displays the Translate Address column.

When you select this check box, edge Branch Session Manager performs the address translation for the specified table entry, not Session Border Controller.

Securable

Specifies the Session Border Controller and remote workers as secure.

Note

The information about the SIP Proxy Private IP address. This field is optional.
