Configuring EC500Delay Deactivation State on Communication Manager

About this task

To avail Push Notification services through Session Manager, configure the user with EC500Delay Deactivation State on Communication Manager. Use this task to control sharing of the current EC500Delay state to Avaya Workplace Clients

Avaya Workplace Clients use the EC500Delay feature to delay the EC500 termination on the same device on which it has registered the Avaya Aura® application in VoIP mode.

Procedure

  1. On the Communication Manager SAT interface, type display off-pbx-telephone station-mapping.
  2. On the STATIONS WITH OFF-PBX TELEPHONE INTEGRATION screen, view and note the value of the Config Set field of the user's station.
  3. On the Communication Manager SAT interface, type change off-pbx-telephone configuration set <n>.

    Where, n is the value of the Config Set field that you have noted in step 2.

  4. On the CONFIGURATION SET screen, in the EC500Delay Deactivation State? field, type y.
  5. Save the changes.
