Last Updated : May 12, 2021 |

Before you begin

Enable the Load Balancer feature on the Global Settings page.

Procedure

  1. On the System Manager web console, click Elements > Session Manager > Network Configuration > Load Balancer.
  2. On the Load Balancer Administration page, click New.

System Manager displays the Load Balancer Details page.

  3. From the Module Name field, select the name of the module.

The module name cannot be blank. The default value is CMLoadBalancer.

  4. From the CM cluster list, select the name of the cluster to assign it to the load balancer.

When you select the Communication Manager cluster, the system assigns the Communication Manager cluster name to the Load Balancer Name and disables the Name field.

To remove the Communication Manager cluster selection, select the blank entry from the CM Cluster list. Once you remove the selected Communication Manager cluster, the system enables the Name field of Load Balancer for updates.

  5. In the Notes field, type any specific notes.
  6. Click Commit.
