Viewing load factor status

About this task

This task details how you can view the load factor for:

  • An individual Session Manager or Branch Session Manager instance

  • A region comprising multiple Session Manager or Branch Session Manager instances

Before you begin

Make sure the Session Manager and Branch Session Manager instances are on Release 8.1.11 or later.

Procedure

  1. On the System Manager web console, click Elements > Session Manager  > System Status  > Load Factor.

In the Session Manager Load Factor tab, you can view the load factor for a Session Manager or Branch Session Manager instance. The Last Hour Peak and Last Day Peak load factor status for a Branch Session Manager is always shown as (---).

  1. To view the region-wise load factor:
    1. Click the Region Load Factor View tab.

      System Manager displays the regions and their load factor status.

    2. In the Details column, click Show.

      System Manager displays the load factor of the Session Manager or Branch Session Manager instances associated with the region.
