Avaya Cloud Office Desktop App notifies you about new messages by:

Displaying the number of new messages next to the Message icon in the side menu bar.
Displaying the number of new messages for a conversation and highlighting the conversation with bold on the Message page.

You can configure when Avaya Cloud Office Desktop App notifies you about new messages in conversations.

Note:

Avaya Cloud Office Desktop App highlights conversations with new messages in bold.

Click SettingsMessage.
In the Conversation list area, in New badge count, select one of the following options:
- All new messages: Avaya Cloud Office Desktop App notifies you about all new messages in direct, group, and team conversations.
- Direct messages and mentions only: Avaya Cloud Office Desktop App notifies you about new messages in direct conversations or when someone mentions or tags you in the group or team conversations. Avaya Cloud Office Desktop App does not notify you about other unread messages.
