The following table lists the meeting control options Avaya Cloud Office Desktop App displays on your meeting window:

the Join audio icon
Join audio
To select how to join your audio for your meeting. The following options are available to join your audio:
  • Computer: To join your audio on computer. When you select this option, Avaya Cloud Office Desktop App changes the the Join audio icon icon to the Mute icon.
  • Dial in: To call a number to join your audio.
  • Call me: To answer a phone call to join your audio.
the Mute icon
Mute microphone
To mute your microphone.
Clicking the Mute icon turns off your microphone and changes the icon to the Unmute icon.
the Unmute icon
Unmute microphone
To unmute your microphone.
Clicking the Unmute icon turns on your microphone and changes the icon to the Mute icon.
the Stop video icon
Stop video
To turn off your camera.
Clicking the Stop video icon turns off your camera and changes the icon to the Start video icon.
the Start video icon
Start video
To turn on your camera.
Clicking the Start video icon turns on your camera and changes the icon to the Stop video icon.
the Share icon
Share
To share your screen with the meeting participants.

To expand the list of microphone, camera, and screen-sharing settings.

To invite more participants to the meeting.

To display the list of meeting participants.
The number next to the icon indicates the number of participants in your meeting.
the Chat icon
Chat
To display the Chat window. The Chat window enables you to adjust the chat settings, message participants, and download the chat history.
the Reactions icon
Reactions
To display the Reactions pane. You can adjust the reaction settings, raise your hand in the meeting, give feedback to the speaker, and inform meeting participants of your availability.
the Start or resume recording icon
Record
To record the meeting.
Clicking the Start or resume recording icon starts recording and changes the icon to the Pause recording icon.
the Pause recording icon
Pause
To pause the recording.
Clicking the Pause recording icon pauses the recording and changes the icon to the Start or resume recording icon.
the Breakout icon
Breakout
To display the Breakout window. You can create up to 50 breakout rooms and assign participants to separate groups.

To access the following options:
  • Whiteboard
  • Background & effects
  • Enable closed captions
  • Star transcription
  • Show notes
  • Settings
  • Turn on End-to-end encryption
  • Help
Making the meeting window width smaller moves some meeting icons to the More menu.

To share a virtual drawing board with the meeting participants.
the Background and effects icon
Background & effects
To change your background or use effects to improve the video quality.
the Enable closed captions icon
Enable closed captions
To enable and disable real-time captioning.
the Start transcription icon
Start transcription
To start audio transcription. You can access meeting transcriptions later.
the Show notes icon
Show notes
To display the Notes pane. You can take private or public notes and review your meeting notes.
the Settings icon

To access the meeting settings.

To turn on and off end-to-end encryption.
Turning on end-to-end encryption makes the following features unavailable:
  • Recording
  • Transcription
  • Joining by phone
  • Closed captions
